My Love of Books

I'm a big reader and I thought I would touch on a few authors that I enjoy, because for me books are culture.  First off, I am not some highbrow reader, though I have read many of the classics and enjoyed most of them.  Currently I am more into Fantasy, Paranormal and Sci-fi more than anything else.
One of my favorite authors right now is Chloe Neill and her Chicagoland Vampires.  The world building is great, but she also uses a lot of the actual Chicago landmarks and in her books.  Her books are serious with a bit of wit thrown in,  They are books that are hard to put down. The main character is Merit , a strong female character who makes the hard decisions but would rather find a piece of chocolate, if given the option.  My kind a heroine!
