Over the last few years I seem to be more attracted to books with strong female leads, These are usually not the ones looking for a man to come and save her, Some of my favorite characters are October Daye, Jane Yellowknife, Charley Davidson and so many others. The damsel in distress characters are just not appealing to me anymore, When I was young the man who came to save the day and have the woman saved was what would attract me to a book, No as I've aged, I'm differently more attracted to stories with strong, kick ass, female characters. By the way, I did not forget Eve Dallas, If you haven't already checked out these characters and the books they are featured in, start now!

WOW, Time flies
To All Who Might Be Interested,
Boy does time fly when your not paying attention. So much change, so much stays the same. I've been able to reconnect with friends and family and also find people out in the Internet world who have had similar backgrounds as I do, I am a Military Brat, specifically an Air Force Brat. Due to the experiences of my childhood and teen years, I feel more like a citizen of the world. Its been nice to converse with others that have that same since of belonging and yet not belonging.
Now on to my other love, Books!! I just finished Craig Johnson's "Dry Bones" part of his Walt Longmire series, I love this series for so many reasons, humor, western setting and most definitely the characters, This is a modern day western mystery set in Wyoming. Start reading, you won't regret it.!
