Boy am I behind on all the great books that I have had the pleasure of reading lately.
First up, if you haven't tried "The Chonicles of Elantra" series by Michelle Sagara, it is enthralling.
Her most recent offering in the series is "Cast in Sorrow" were we learn about the capabilities of the main character. I won't say much more about the story because you really have to start at the beginning of this series and watch as the main character evolves . This series is more fantasy/world building than romance or paranormal genre. But what I really love about this series is how the stories are written, you are learning along with the protagonist what her abilities, their meaning and her place in world.
Second up is "Chimes at Midnight" an "October Daye" book by Seanan McGuire. Wow what a game changer and your never sure if October will really succeed at her quest, but she will die trying if she has to. This book also leads to new possibilities as we have a change in the power structure going on.
Well, unfortunately this is all I have time for but I hope this gives you some ideas for new books to read.
