Its Been a Little Slow Lately

Dear Readers:

Its been a little slow on the book loving front.  I did read the new Connie Suttle book, "Blood Double".  Its the first book in a new series from her. 



If you haven't checked out Connie Suttle before, I would start out with "Blood Wager".  This first book starts out introducing you to the characters that lead up "Blood Double".



Ms. Suttle does a great job of world building and keeping you very interested and involved in the characters.  If you would like to checkout her website, go to www.suttledemon.com.  She usually publishes a book once a month (another reason I love her) so that's another great plus.  In the world of paranormal/sci-fi/ fantasy, Ms. Suttle is a class act.

Something Wrong In Charlaine Harris Land

Dear Readers:
I've made a decision not to buy the last Sookie Stackhouse book by Charlaine Harris.  For me this is a sad moment, as I have enjoyed this series for many years, but the last 2 to 3 books have not been up to the standard that was written in the past.  I felt that as soon as the T.V. series started something got lost.  In saying that, she has written a few thrillers that were quite good.  I think Ms. Harris just lost interest in the Sookie World.   I will miss this series but know that more are to come and will hopefully include Ms. Harris.  Its just to bad that Sookie's World had to end like this.
